Salesforce Data Cleanup and Deduplication

About Role

Clean and standardize records in Salesforce before a reporting and process-improvement initiative. The work requires careful duplicate handling, field consistency, validation, and a clear record of what was changed. No deletion or irreversible update should occur without an agreed review process. The successful freelancer will be expected to work independently, share progress at agreed checkpoints, and raise questions early when a requirement needs clarification. All submitted work should be original, well organized, and ready for practical use after reasonable review.

Requirements

• Profile record quality and identify duplicate patterns.
• Create rules for matching, merging, formatting, and missing values.
• Prepare a backup or export before making bulk changes.
• Clean a defined set of leads, contacts, accounts, or opportunities.
• Validate record counts and important relationships after cleanup.
• Deliver a change log and recommendations for preventing future duplicates.
