CI/CD Pipeline for GitHub Project

About Role

Set up a practical continuous integration and deployment workflow for an application hosted in GitHub. The pipeline should automatically run quality checks, tests, and a controlled deployment process. We need useful failure messages and documentation so the development team can maintain the workflow after delivery. The successful freelancer will be expected to work independently, share progress at agreed checkpoints, and raise questions early when a requirement needs clarification. All submitted work should be original, well organized, and ready for practical use after reasonable review.

Requirements

• Review the repository structure and existing release process.
• Configure automated linting, tests, and build validation.
• Add protected deployment steps for the selected environment.
• Manage secrets safely and avoid exposing them in logs.
• Create clear status checks and failure notifications.
• Document branch, release, rollback, and troubleshooting procedures.
