Website Security Assessment

About Role

Conduct an authorized security assessment of our website and supporting configuration. The objective is to identify realistic vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses, explain business impact, and provide remediation steps. Testing must remain within the agreed scope and must not disrupt services or access unrelated data. The successful freelancer will be expected to work independently, share progress at agreed checkpoints, and raise questions early when a requirement needs clarification. All submitted work should be original, well organized, and ready for practical use after reasonable review.

Requirements

• Confirm scope, test windows, and authorized targets before testing.
• Review authentication, access control, input handling, headers, and exposed services.
• Classify findings by severity and likelihood.
• Provide safe evidence that demonstrates each issue without harming data.
• Recommend practical remediation and verification steps.
• Deliver an executive summary and a technical report.
